After School Clubs

Lux Mundi is a school that provides students with extracurricular activities that helps them. Whether it is a sport or a club, I can guarantee you it is worthwhile. First of all, it looks good on a college application. The universities don’t only consider grades, they are looking for students who go above and beyond. It is also a way of making new friends at school. Knowing people with a common interest helps create a bond between students.

Some of the clubs the school has are First Lego League and Team Force. First Lego League is for seventh and eighth graders. It consists of building a robot and programming it to solve a problem. Team Force is open for students between ninth and twelfth grade. They work on the areas of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math).

There is also the debate club. In this club, students get to discuss with others in an organized way. They also get to interact with other schools and travel outside the country. It helps them know the current events that are happening in the world. Thanks to the debate club, many students get to develop speech skills.

The sports department has after school classes for chess, soccer, basketball, volleyball and ping pong. These classes are for students of all grades. Not only they get to learn about these sports, but they also participate in tournaments. Winning a soccer game or a chess tournament could be really helpful for the future of the students.
