Sometimes, we think about everything we have, what life gives us. Whether it is good or bad, it happens for a reason, leaving a positive or negative consequence. Looking from another point of view…the human being is born without anything, without knowing or having a notion of where he is. Everything that happens to us represents a point on the journey of our lives. We have a culture of giving thanks. Some thank God or the universe, while others are thankful to live for all the good things that happen to them, but few are grateful for the unfortunate things or what they don’t like. People often say “How am I going to be grateful for something that hurts me?” Still, they fail to understand that this hurtful moment also left them with a life lesson. Therefore, you should be thankful for that lesson and take it as a plus for your personal growth.
Every day we should take a moment to give thanks, to show that no matter what happens, we are strong and we can overcome whatever comes our way. Give thanks to your families, your education, your health, and many other aspects. Do not waste your time in life becoming bitter because things do not go as you want or because they do not turn out as they should. Instead, be grateful for what you have. At the end of the day, everything you’re thankful for is returned to you in larger quantities. Be grateful to everyone, not only during this month where we celebrate Thanksgiving but every day of your life.
